Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026  •  Last Updated: May 26, 2026

CyberPrep BootCamp is operated by CyberPrep Solutions LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("CyberPrep," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our website, mobile applications, practice questions, study tools, account features, subscriptions, offline features, support services, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is initially intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Account information, including email address, password or authentication credentials, account ID, subscription status, account settings, and related login records. We do not require users to provide a full name or profile photo at launch.
  • Optional study profile information, such as a selected certification goal or exam track (Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, AAIA, or other tracks we may add).
  • Billing and purchase information, such as plan type, transaction status, purchase history, subscription entitlement, cancellation status, refund requests, and payment platform. Payment card details are processed by the applicable payment provider or app store and are not stored by CyberPrep unless expressly stated by that provider.
  • Support communications, including messages about login issues, billing questions, account deletion, accessibility requests, bug reports, question feedback, or other support needs.
  • Reviews, testimonials, corrections, feature ideas, or feedback you voluntarily submit to CyberPrep.

Information collected through use of the Service:

  • Usage data, such as pages or screens viewed, quiz modes used, session duration, clicks, referring pages, device type, browser, operating system, app version, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar diagnostic or engagement data.
  • Learning activity and study progress for signed-in users, including quiz answers, correct and incorrect answer history, practice-exam results, domain performance, progress history, bookmarks, saved preferences, streaks, time spent studying, and reset-progress activity.
  • Cookies, local storage, app storage, and similar technologies used for authentication, remembering preferences, analytics, security, offline functionality, and improving the Service.
  • Local device information related to offline access. If offline study content or progress is stored locally on a user device, our app-store disclosures will clearly state that limited premium study content and progress may be stored locally for offline use.

Information from service providers and platforms:

  • Supabase may provide authentication, database, storage, account identifiers, login status, automated authentication emails, profile records, and study-progress records.
  • Google Analytics may provide traffic, screen-view, engagement, device, and performance reports for the website, web app, Android app, and iPhone/iPad app.
  • Google Play, Apple App Store, and any selected website payment processor may provide purchase, subscription, cancellation, renewal, refund, entitlement, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, and payment-status information.
  • GitHub is expected to host code and deployment files only and is not intended to store personal user account information, quiz progress, support messages, or other personal user data.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Create and manage accounts, authentication, premium access, subscriptions, free trials, launch promotions, and customer support requests.
  • Save study progress, display quiz history, reset progress when requested, personalize study tools, and help users identify weaker domains.
  • Process purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, invoices, app-store entitlements, restore-purchase requests, fraud-prevention checks, and billing support.
  • Provide limited sample content without requiring an account and provide premium features to eligible users.
  • Monitor performance, analyze engagement, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and prevent unauthorized scraping, copying, or misuse of exam-prep content.
  • Send service-related messages, such as account verification emails, password reset emails, account notices, security alerts, policy updates, billing notices, and customer-support responses.
  • Use reviews, testimonials, suggestions, and feedback as described in the Terms of Use.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect the rights, safety, and security of CyberPrep, our users, and others.

3. Legal Bases and Business Purposes

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, operate our legitimate business interests, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud and abuse, protect our rights and users, and with consent where required.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging it for money. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers that help us host, secure, authenticate, store, analyze, email, support, process payments, verify entitlements, or operate the Service.
  • Supabase for authentication, account records, database services, storage, and automated account-related emails.
  • Google Analytics for analytics and product-improvement reporting.
  • Google Play, Apple App Store, and website payment processors for payments, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, tax, chargebacks, fraud checks, and entitlement verification.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance parties when necessary to comply with law, protect rights, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Business-transfer parties if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies, Analytics, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, browser storage, mobile storage, analytics tags, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, improve performance, prevent abuse, verify premium access, and support offline functionality. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings, but disabling them may affect login, progress tracking, premium access, and offline features.

6. Offline Features

The Service may offer limited offline functionality for premium users. Practice questions, login, purchases, premium verification, admin features, and progress sync may require an internet connection. Offline data may be stored locally on your device and can be removed by clearing browser/app storage, signing out where available, resetting progress where available, or uninstalling the app.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain transaction and business records, and protect our rights. Account and study-progress data generally remain stored while the account is active. After a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize account profile and study-progress information unless retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, chargeback, security, or compliance purposes. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information that does not identify you.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and using a secure device and network.

9. Your Privacy Choices

  • Access, update, or delete certain account information through your account settings where available.
  • Reset your study progress where the Service provides that option.
  • Request deletion, correction, access, or export of personal information by contacting support@cyberprepbootcamp.com.
  • Request account deletion through the in-app Settings > Account > Delete Account feature or through cyberprepbootcamp.com/account-deletion.
  • Manage cookies and storage through your browser or device settings.
  • Cancel paid subscriptions through the payment platform or app store where the purchase was made.

10. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their CyberPrep BootCamp account and associated personal data through the in-app account deletion option or by visiting cyberprepbootcamp.com/account-deletion. Upon a verified deletion request, CyberPrep will delete or anonymize account information, study progress, saved preferences, and related personal data unless retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, chargeback, security, or transaction-record purposes.

Deleting your CyberPrep account does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Before deleting your account, you should cancel any active app-store subscription through Google Play or Apple subscription settings.

11. Children and Teens

CyberPrep BootCamp is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action, including deleting the information where required.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. To submit a request, contact support@cyberprepbootcamp.com. We may verify your identity before completing the request.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to third-party websites, certification bodies, payment processors, app stores, analytics tools, authentication providers, or support tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Review their policies before using their services.

Terms of Use

Effective Date: May 26, 2026  •  Last Updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CyberPrep BootCamp, operated by CyberPrep Solutions LLC, including our website, mobile applications, study tools, practice questions, glossary content, account features, subscriptions, free trials, launch promotions, offline features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription, restoring a purchase, or clicking "I agree," you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Free or sample content may be available without creating an account. An account is required for saved progress, premium features, premium subscription access, restore-purchase functionality, and certain support features.
  • At launch, accounts are created using an email address and password. We do not require a full name at launch.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, abuse free trials or promotions, scrape content, share accounts, or infringe our rights.

2. Educational Purpose; No Exam Guarantee

The Service provides educational practice materials and study tools. We do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam, receive any job, promotion, raise, credential, or other outcome. Your results depend on your preparation, background, exam readiness, official exam changes, and other factors outside our control.

3. Independent Provider; No Certification-Body Affiliation

CyberPrep BootCamp is an independent exam-preparation provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any certification body unless expressly stated in writing. Certification names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify exam-preparation subject matter. Expected tracks may include Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, AAIA, and other certifications we may add.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal study or professional development. You may not use the Service for commercial resale, training others at scale, building a competing product, or any unauthorized purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service, including practice questions, explanations, study tips, quizzes, flashcards, domain mappings, text, designs, graphics, logos, software, databases, analytics, progress systems, and other materials, is owned by CyberPrep, its licensors, or its content providers and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publish, modify, scrape, reverse engineer, sell, license, upload to question banks, share in forums, use to train AI models, or create derivative works from the Service or its content except as expressly permitted in writing. Personal study notes are allowed, but bulk copying, extraction, republication, or sharing of premium content is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, sell, rent, transfer, or allow others to use your account.
  • Copy, scrape, download in bulk, export, republish, or distribute practice questions, explanations, answers, or glossary content except for personal study notes.
  • Use bots, crawlers, scripts, automation, screen scraping, browser automation, or other methods to extract content or overload the Service.
  • Bypass paywalls, premium controls, access restrictions, app-store rules, rate limits, security controls, entitlement checks, or authentication requirements.
  • Use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, harass others, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with operations.
  • Misrepresent your identity, payment status, eligibility, subscription status, or affiliation with us.
  • Use content or output from the Service to build, improve, or train a competing product, question bank, study app, model, or dataset.

7. Free Content, 30-Day Launch Promotion, Free Trials, and Promotions

  • We may provide limited sample questions or free features without requiring payment.
  • For the first 30 days following launch, CyberPrep may make premium features available without charge and without requiring enrollment in an automatically renewing subscription. At the conclusion of the promotional access period, premium access will end unless the user elects to purchase a subscription or other paid access.
  • Eligible users who later choose an auto-renewing subscription may receive a separately disclosed 7-day free trial before paid billing begins. Trial terms, price, renewal frequency, and cancellation method will be disclosed before subscription enrollment.
  • Promotions may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time unless prohibited by law or a separate written agreement.

8. Premium Access and Subscription Features

Premium membership may include full question banks, full-length practice exams, explanations, study tips, performance analytics, weak-domain tracking, progress history, and offline access. Separate purchases per certification course or question bank may also be offered. Features may vary by plan, platform, certification track, and availability.

9. Subscriptions, Payments, Renewal, and Cross-Platform Access

  • Paid subscription options expected at launch include a monthly membership at $4.99 per month and an annual membership at $40.00 per year, subject to applicable taxes, app-store pricing tiers, currency conversion, and platform rules.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider or app store to charge the displayed amount and applicable taxes at each renewal period until canceled.
  • Subscriptions purchased through the Android app are processed through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions purchased through the iPhone or iPad app are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Website purchases will be processed by the selected website payment processor.
  • An active premium entitlement may follow the user account across supported platforms after login, subject to entitlement verification, app-store rules, technical availability, and the terms of the original purchase platform.
  • If payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade access until payment is resolved.

10. Subscription Management, Cancellation, and Account Deletion

  • Android users will be able to access a Manage Subscription on Google Play link inside the app.
  • iPhone and iPad users will be able to access a Manage Subscription link that directs them to Apple subscription settings.
  • Website subscribers will be able to cancel through CyberPrep account settings.
  • Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges. Access may continue through the end of the paid billing period unless the applicable platform states otherwise.
  • Deleting a CyberPrep account does not necessarily cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription. Users should cancel active app-store subscriptions before deleting their account.

11. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy below. App-store purchases are generally subject to the applicable app store refund process. Refunds do not create permission to keep using paid content after access is canceled.

12. User Content, Feedback, Reviews, and Testimonials

If you submit feedback, corrections, testimonials, reviews, support messages, bug reports, feature ideas, or other content, you grant CyberPrep a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, modify, and distribute that content to operate, improve, market, and support the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless necessary for support.

13. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including question banks, features, domains, trial access, pricing, supported platforms, and offline functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.

14. Accuracy of Content

We work to provide useful and accurate study content, but certification exams, objectives, laws, technologies, and vendor practices change. The Service may contain errors, omissions, outdated references, or differences from official exam wording. You should verify requirements with the official certification body and use the Service as one part of your preparation.

15. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberPrep disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and course or exam outcomes.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberPrep Solutions LLC, CyberPrep BootCamp, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunity, exam failure, employment outcomes, or business interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to CyberPrep for the Service in the three months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid nothing.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CyberPrep Solutions LLC, CyberPrep BootCamp, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, infringement of rights, unlawful conduct, or content you submit.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, misuse content, abuse support, attempt unauthorized access, or engage in conduct harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops immediately. Sections intended to survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any legal action must generally be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless another forum is required by applicable consumer law.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms, except where prohibited by law.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026  •  Last Updated: May 26, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when refunds may be available for CyberPrep BootCamp purchases. This policy applies to direct purchases made through our website unless a different written agreement or app-store policy applies.

1. Direct Website Purchases

For purchases made directly through CyberPrep BootCamp, users may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the initial purchase if the purchase was accidental, duplicate, or made in error and the account has not substantially used, copied, abused, or attempted to extract premium content. To request a refund, contact support@cyberprepbootcamp.com with your account email, purchase date, order ID, payment platform, and reason for the request.

2. Direct Website Renewal Charges

If a direct website subscription renews unintentionally, users may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the renewal charge if the user has not substantially used premium content after the renewal. Renewal refunds are not guaranteed and may be denied where allowed by law if the user failed to cancel before renewal, substantially used premium content, violated our Terms, or engaged in suspicious or abusive activity.

3. Substantial Use

Substantial use that may disqualify a direct website refund includes, but is not limited to:

  • Completing any full-length practice exam.
  • Accessing premium content on more than fourteen (14) days.
  • Copying, scraping, downloading, sharing, republishing, selling, or attempting to extract paid content.
  • Using the Service in a manner that violates the Terms of Use or acceptable use restrictions.

4. Google Play Purchases

Subscriptions or purchases made through the CyberPrep BootCamp Android app are processed through Google Play Billing. Customers must request refunds directly through Google Play under Google Play rules and procedures.

5. Apple App Store Purchases

Subscriptions or purchases made through the CyberPrep BootCamp iPhone or iPad app are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Customers must request refunds directly through Apple under Apple rules and procedures.

6. Subscription Cancellations

  • Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
  • You are responsible for canceling before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.
  • Access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated by the payment platform.
  • Android users should cancel through Google Play subscription settings.
  • iPhone and iPad users should cancel through Apple subscription settings.
  • Website subscribers should cancel through CyberPrep account settings.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may be denied where allowed by law if:

  • The request is made after the applicable refund window.
  • The account shows substantial use of premium materials, completed exams, bulk access, scraping, sharing, copying, or attempted extraction of content.
  • The purchase was made through an app store and must be handled by that store.
  • The issue is caused by failure to cancel before renewal.
  • The user violated the Terms of Use or acceptable use rules.
  • The claim is based on not passing an exam — CyberPrep does not offer an exam-pass guarantee.

8. Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged twice or charged in error, contact us promptly at support@cyberprepbootcamp.com. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, correct the billing error or direct you to the applicable payment provider or app store.

9. Processing Time

Approved refunds will be submitted to the applicable payment provider as soon as reasonably practical. The time it takes for funds to appear depends on the payment method, bank, card issuer, or app store.

10. Contact for Refund Requests
